How to Get Help
1. If you have a college nearby starting an IHI open school is very helpful. It is free. http://www.ihi.org/offerings/ihiopenschool/Pages/default.aspx
The students take couses from IHI on safety and quality. They then can do projects in clinics. At our institution we have an IHI schools at Mayo Medical School and the University of Minnesota Rochester. The students meet regularly and are eager to help. The students receive a TB test, sign HIPPA compliance forms, and bring a letter of good standing from the school so they may operate in the clinical environment.
